DB Investing is a multi-asset CFD broker launched in 2018, with a group holding company in Abu Dhabi and its trading business run from Seychelles. It offers MetaTrader 5, a $10 entry point, raw spreads from 0.0 pips and a very long product list of more than 20,000 instruments. Our verdict: pricing on the Raw and Pro accounts is competitive and the account range is well thought out, especially for clients who need swap-free trading. But every licence that covers brokerage is offshore, so client protection is much weaker than with an FCA, ASIC or CySEC broker.

Regulation and safety
DB Investing’s footer is unusually detailed, which helps. The website and the MT5 service are operated by DB Invest Limited, a Securities Dealer licensed by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence SD053. We found DB Invest Limited, trading as DB Investing, on the FSA Seychelles capital-markets register, with an office in the Providence Industrial Estate on Mahé.
The group also lists:
- DB Invest (MY) Limited, an Investment Dealer licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (licence GB25204845). We could not open the FSC register entry during our check.
- DBInvest Financial Services LLC, a Category 5 licensee of the UAE Capital Market Authority (20200000197). The company itself states this entity only introduces and promotes, and is not authorised to provide brokerage or execute trades.
- DB Pay Ltd, registered with Canada’s FINTRAC as a money services business (M22286159). This is an anti-money-laundering registration for payments, not a trading licence.
In plain terms, your account will sit with an offshore entity. Seychelles and Mauritius set lighter capital and conduct rules than top-tier regulators and offer no investor compensation scheme comparable to the UK’s FSCS. DB Investing says negative balance protection applies, so your losses should be limited to your account balance, and the site states that 63.33% of retail CFD accounts lose money with the provider.
Fees and spreads
| Account | Min deposit | Spreads from | Commission (per lot, per side) | Max leverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard (STP) | $10 | 1.0 pip | None | 1:2000 |
| Raw (ECN) | $10 | 0.0 pips | $3.00 | 1:1000 |
| Pro (ECN) | $5,000 | 0.0 pips | $1.50 | 1:1000 |
| Cent | 1,000 USC (about $10) | 1.0 pip | None | 1:500 |
A $3 per side commission on the Raw account works out to $6 per round-turn lot, which is in line with mainstream raw-spread brokers. The Pro account halves that to $3 round turn, but needs a $5,000 deposit. Standard suits beginners who prefer all costs built into the spread. Note that the FAQ mentions leverage “from 1:100 to 1:3000″ while the account table caps at 1:2000; we use the account table figures. Deposits and withdrawals are described as free in most cases, though the FAQ warns that fees may apply with some regional payment methods or bonus-linked accounts.
Accounts and products
Beyond the three core accounts and the Cent account, DB Investing offers Islamic and Islamic Plus swap-free versions of all main accounts. They come with holding periods on eligible instruments, after which administrative charges may apply, so read the swap-free terms if you hold trades for weeks. Base currencies include USD, EUR, GBP, AED and SAR, which is handy for Gulf clients. PAMM and MAM accounts serve money managers, and a demo account is available.
The product catalogue is broad: forex, metals, energies and other commodities, indices, share CFDs, crypto CFDs, ETFs and bonds, more than 20,000 instruments in total. At the time of our check the homepage also promoted programmes such as interest on eligible free cash balances and a cashback scheme; these are optional, conditional offers, so check current terms on the official site before relying on them.
Platforms and tools
DB Investing is a MetaTrader 5 broker, with desktop, web and mobile versions, plus the Sirix WebTrader and the company’s own mobile app for account management. MT5 supports Expert Advisors, more timeframes and a built-in economic calendar. If you rely on MT4-only indicators or prefer cTrader, this is a limitation.
Deposits and withdrawals
The FAQ lists bank transfers, Visa and Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Apple Pay and cryptocurrencies, with more than 100 payment options depending on country. Withdrawals must go back through the method used to deposit. After an internal review of up to one hour, bank wires take two to three working days, card refunds up to ten working days, and crypto is described as near instant.
Who DB Investing suits
- Suits: MT5 traders outside the EU and US who want low raw-spread costs and a small starting deposit.
- Suits: clients who need swap-free accounts or AED/SAR base currencies.
- Avoid if: you want top-tier regulation and investor compensation, or you need MT4 or cTrader.
Final verdict
DB Investing combines a $10 entry point, raw pricing with reasonable commissions and a very wide CFD range on MT5. The trade-off is regulation: the licences that cover trading are from Seychelles and Mauritius only. It is a reasonable option for cost-conscious traders who accept offshore protection, but keep position sizes modest. High leverage on CFDs can lead to fast losses.
