This E8 Markets review covers a Dallas-based prop firm known for letting traders build their own challenge. E8 Markets started in 2021 as E8 Funding, rebranded in 2023 and now offers forex, perpetual and futures evaluations, with profit splits that can be set as high as 100%. Our verdict: E8 is one of the most flexible firms on the market, with fast payout requests and a broad platform list, but frequent product changes, dynamic drawdowns and no fee refund mean you need to read each programme’s rules closely.

Challenge types and pricing
E8 One is the build-your-own model. You choose a maximum drawdown between 4% and 14%, and the profit target is set at 1.5 times that figure. The $5K example uses a 4% daily limit, a 6% dynamic drawdown and a 9% target, with one minimum trading day. E8 Pro uses an 8% target, a tight 2.5% daily limit and an 8% static drawdown with no minimum days. E8 Signature has a 6% target, no daily limit in the challenge and a 4% end-of-day dynamic drawdown, and is available on forex and CME futures.
| Programme | Sizes | From | Target | Max drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| E8 One | $5K–$500K | about $44 | 1.5x drawdown | 4%–14% dynamic |
| E8 Pro | $5K–$500K | about $29 | 8% | 8% static |
| E8 Signature | $25K–$150K | about $99 | 6% | 4% EOD dynamic |
Prices come from a September 2026 third-party review and may differ at checkout. The fee is not refunded with the first payout. As with any firm, most traders fail evaluations, so treat the fee as a cost.
Trading rules
- Drawdown: dynamic (trailing) on E8 One and Signature, static on E8 Pro. Know which one you are buying.
- Consistency: no best-day rule during the challenge on E8 One, but a 40% best-day rule applies once funded; Signature uses 35% once funded.
- News: allowed during evaluations; E8 One funded accounts have a short restricted window around high-impact releases.
- Weekend holding: allowed on E8 One; Signature closes positions daily around the rollover.
- EAs: allowed, but arbitrage EAs are banned and there is a cap on daily server requests.
- Inactivity: one trade every 60 days on forex, seven days on futures.
Profit split, payouts and scaling
E8 One lets you pick 80%, 90% or 100% at checkout, with higher splits costing more. E8 Pro offers 80% or 100% and allows payout requests daily, but only half of accumulated profit can be withdrawn per request, and asking for too much can fail the account. Signature pays 80%. Payouts are reported to be processed in one to two business days via Rise or Plane. We did not find a published scaling plan. An important point in this E8 Markets review is that the payout mechanics differ by programme, so read the payout rules before you choose.
Platforms and instruments
Forex traders can use MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader or TradeLocker; US clients are limited to a subset. Crypto perpetuals run on E8’s own browser-based E8 Terminal, and futures accounts use Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Quantower, TradingView or Sierra Chart. Forex leverage is 1:30, lower than many offshore competitors.
Company, trust and payout record
E8 is led by CEO Dylan Elchami. The main operating company is E8 Funding LLC in Texas, with a Saint Lucia entity for MT5 accounts. A third-party review cites $76.7 million paid across more than 22,000 requests since 2021. On the downside, E8 restructured its products twice in 2026, its Trustpilot profile carries a notice that fake reviews were removed, and some users report support problems and disputed account closures. We found no reports of closure or suspended payouts.
Who E8 Markets suits
- Traders who want to set their own drawdown, target and split.
- Those who want frequent payout requests.
- Traders who want forex and futures under one brand with many platforms.
Traders who prefer simple static rules and stable products may find E8 too complex.
Final verdict on this E8 Markets review
E8 Markets rewards traders who read the fine print: flexible design, high optional splits and quick payouts, offset by trailing drawdowns, no refund and a product line that changes often. Start small, check the rules on the day you buy and only risk money you can afford to lose.
