This AudaCity Capital review looks at one of the older names in the prop trading space. The London-linked firm says it has been backing traders since 2012, well before the 2020s boom in online challenges. Our verdict: AudaCity Capital offers some of the most forgiving evaluation rules we have seen, with a static 15% maximum loss in Phase 1, no consistency rule and no time limit, plus a refundable fee. The trade-off is a profit split that starts at 75% and an operating entity registered offshore. As of November 2026 it is a reasonable option for patient forex traders who want room to breathe, as long as they accept that most evaluations end in failure and the fee is a real cost.

Challenge types and pricing

AudaCity runs three routes to a funded account. The flagship Ability Challenge is a two-step evaluation (Challenge, then Verification) followed by a live stage. Ability One is a single-phase version with a 10% target and a minimum of three trading days. FTP (Funded Trader Program) is an instant-funding product with no evaluation, starting from $199, where you must make 10% before withdrawals open.

List prices for the Ability Challenge are below. During our check the site showed a 14% anniversary discount and several rotating promo codes; we do not reproduce codes here, so check current terms on the official site.

$50,000$32910%5%
$100,000$54910%5%
$200,000$1,04910%5%

Pricing sits around the market average for a two-step challenge. What makes it better value than it first appears is that the Ability Challenge and Ability One fees are refunded with your first qualifying payout. The FTP fee is not refundable.

Trading rules

Drawdown

Drawdown is static, meaning the floor is set from the starting balance and does not trail your equity upward. In Phase 1 the daily limit is 7.5% and the total limit 15%, which is unusually loose. From Phase 2 onward, including the live account, it tightens to 5% daily and 10% total. Ability One pages showed conflicting numbers (7.5%/15% on one page, 3%/6% on others), so confirm the current figures before buying. On FTP the firm describes a 5% trailing daily limit and a 10% fixed maximum.

News, weekends and EAs

News trading and weekend holding are allowed on the Ability Challenge. Some program pages add that you may not open, close or add to positions within three minutes either side of a high-impact release, so read your program’s terms. Expert Advisors are permitted on MT5 and DXtrade provided they do not use prohibited strategies or third-party signals. Copy trading is only allowed between your own accounts.

Other restrictions

  • No consistency rule on the main programs (removed in the 2026 rule update).
  • No time limit, but accounts are subject to a six-month inactivity rule.
  • Each trade must stay open at least two minutes; maximum 10 lots per position.
  • Banned: high-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, hedging across accounts, martingale and DCA-style averaging.
  • Breached accounts are not reset; you buy a new challenge.

Profit split, payouts and scaling

On the Ability programs you start at a 75% split. It rises to 85% once you have withdrawn 10% profit, and the scaling plan can take it to 90%. Payouts can be requested every two weeks, with the first available 14 days after your first live trade. Approved payouts are credited to the dashboard wallet on the approval date; the external withdrawal timing is not specified.

The scaling plan doubles the account each time you hit its targets, with the firm advertising a ceiling above $2 million subject to its allocation policy. FTP accounts work differently, with a lower, milestone-based split and same-day payout on approval.

Platforms and instruments

You can trade on MetaTrader 5 or DXtrade. Leverage is up to 1:100 on the Ability programs and 1:30 on FTP. The firm focuses on forex and CFDs; it does not offer futures. US residents can only take part through DXtrade where permitted, and a list of countries, including Iran, Syria, Venezuela and North Korea, is excluded.

Company, trust and payout record

The operating company is AudaCity Global LTD, registration number 15850, with its registered office in Mutsamudu, Anjouan, Union of Comoros. The firm says this entity holds an Anjouan brokerage and clearing licence. Payments are handled by AudaCity International FZCO in Dubai and Propmetry Limited, and there is a UK office at Cabot Square in London. An Anjouan licence is not comparable to oversight by the FCA or an EU regulator, and the firm itself notes that its prop programs should not be treated as regulated brokerage services.

On the positive side, a 14-year history is long by prop firm standards, and the company reports more than $250 million paid to traders across 140+ countries. Those figures are self-reported. AudaCity also changes its rules fairly often: the 2026 update removed the consistency rule and reworked FTP, and some pages still show older numbers. That is a reason to read the live rule page carefully rather than a red flag on its own.

Who it suits

  • Swing and intraday forex traders who want static drawdown and no deadline.
  • Traders who hold over weekends or through news events.
  • Those who prefer MT5 and are happy without cTrader or TradingView.

In this AudaCity Capital review we found it suits less well traders who want a 90% split from day one, futures traders, and anyone who needs a firm based in a strongly regulated jurisdiction.

Final verdict on our AudaCity Capital review

AudaCity Capital combines a long track record with trader-friendly evaluation rules: a static 15% drawdown in Phase 1, no consistency rule, no time limit and a refundable fee. The split ladder starting at 75% and the offshore operating entity keep it from the top tier. Remember that most traders do not pass evaluations, and every failed attempt is money spent. If you decide to try, size your risk so you can survive several losing weeks, and verify current rules on the official AudaCity Capital website.
